Naked and Famous is a popular cocktail consisting of equal parts of mezcal, Chartreuse, Aperol, and lime juice.
History of Naked and Famous Cocktail
Naked and Famous cocktail was invented by Joaquín Simó while working at Death & Co. bar in New York City. This cocktail was inspired by two famous cocktails, Last Word and Paper plane, and claimed as:
the bastard love child of a classic Last Word and Paper Plane, conceived in the mountains of Oaxaca.

Ingredients
- 3/4 oz Mezcal
- 3/4 oz Chartreuse (yellow)
- 3/4 oz Aperol
- 3/4 oz Lime juice
- 1 Lime wedge (garnish)
Instructions
- Pour all the ingredients into a cocktail shaker
- Add ice
- Shake for about 12-20 seconds
- Strain into a chilled glass
- Garnish with lime wedge (optional)
