Honey syrup is a nice to have in any bar and is easy to make anywhere. It is a simple combination of cinnamon, sugar, and water that is often used in brandy, cognac, and calvados cocktails.
Cinnamon Syrup
Ingredients
- 1/4 oz Cinnamon bark
- 1 cup Turbinado (brown) sugar
- 1 cup Water
Instructions
- Add cinnamon bark, sugar and water to a saucepan and put it on medium heat
- Stir until sugar is dissolved
- Turn off the heat and let the mixture cool
- Pour the syrup into a glass or plastic container and place it in the fridge
